Learn about the Affordable Housing Report in Spain prepared by Culmia in collaboration with GAD3, a social research and communication consultancy. You can also watch the video summary of the presentation.
The affordable rental housing project is driven by the Generalitat Valenciana through the Entitat Valenciana d'Habitatge i Sòl (EHVA) under a program for the transfer of public land for the promotion and construction of affordable rental housing.
The purpose of the program is to bring to market, through the transfer of land under a surface rights regime for a period of 75 years, land designated for residential use for the promotion and construction by the awarded parties.
The objective is to facilitate access for broad social groups to subsidized housing under a rental scheme based on a specific maximum limit of family income, thus easing the economic burden of rent through the construction of homes designated for affordable rental.
Culmia is the developer responsible for the construction and delivery of the buildings, and we collaborate with Sogeviso, which will handle the management of the housing stock once construction is completed.
Once the construction of the buildings is underway, information regarding the application submission deadlines, the features of the development, and the requirements to become tenants will be made available to potential renters.
