21 September 2021. Culmia, one of Spain's leading real estate developers, announces its partnership with the international Vision Zero campaign, an ISSA initiative that brings a transformational approach to the field of risk prevention and encompasses three dimensions: health, safety and well-being at all levels of work.
Thanks to this partnership, Culmia once again demonstrates its commitment to its employees and all its partners and places itself at the forefront of policies and initiatives for risk prevention and the protection of workers.
In 2020, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the world's leading certified professional body for professionals in the fields of safety, health and well-being, aligned itself with ISSA's Vision Zero campaign by entering into an agreement to provide accredited training for Vision Zero trainers, bringing the campaign to a crucial strategy level of occupational health and safety.
Vision Zero, promoted by ISSA, and also joined by EU-OSHA (European Agency for Safety and Health at Work), not only matches Culmia's commitment to its employees, but also aligns itself with the European Union's guidelines and strategy on safety and health at work: EU 2021-2027.
According to Juan Manuel Borrás, Operations Director at Culmia, "the main asset we have at Culmia is its professionals and partners, which is why it is essential to create an ecosystem in which safety is paramount in all areas and we are able to place the well-being of everyone at the centre, which will undoubtedly have an impact on the company".
ISSA’s Vision Zero concept is flexible and adaptable to specific safety, health and welfare priorities for prevention in any context. Thanks to this flexibility, the initiative can be extrapolated to any workplace, company or industry, in all regions of the world.
